Good Pump for CLOSED LOOP CIRCULATION

hey guys,

Never fooled with external pumps before. what is a good brand of pump for a closed loop.

also, can you recommend a particular one as far as gph and so forth? What gph for a closed loop on a 60cube do I want to shoot for?

what about the "quiet one" pumps? I found one that is 980gph for under $100. Adequate for efficient closed loop? Thanks.

OH one more thing. what about a sump? What kinda pump do i need for that?

it has been my observation that most people use iwaki, sequence, or panworld pumps. They seem to be happy with those. easy to plumb relativly maint free.

when i use a loop on my 40g i used a small awaki. it worked great. ran 4yrs without any problems....

so what type of flow rate should I go for? This assuming I have 1.5 inche bulkheads installed (if that matters).
