I am wondering if anyone has any recomendations for moonlights for a tank that uses a neptune controller?

ALL the LED moonlights will not work with the controller because they are DC and the x-10 modules varry AC power, I am told.

Thanks again for your help.

I don't really understand that, my led's may be DC, but the little converterthingy on the end is plugged into an AC outlet.....

I can't seam to dim LEDs either. When I had the moon simulation going, I was using a 5 or 10 watt incandescent blue "party" bulb.

i rigged up my own led moon light to test it out a few months back and the tansformer went bad
the transformers work in a very small area of volts ( 100-120) any thng above or bellow that causes them to stop after about a week or two
all dimming of leds must be done after the transformer ( unless you wanna spent alot on a special transformer or led that as far as i know. is nearly impossiabl to find and i think may not exist :P)

yeha i looked at those and those are using a dimmer AFTER the powersuplly. also those dont simulate moon rise / set like neptune does

there may be a 110 volt led. not sure tho 110 volt AC i mean

since the transformer we use to convert ac to dc use diodes that tells me that light emiting diods must work on ac aswell. ill look into this . there may be an awser for all of us who use computer controll to befound in high power leds.
