I'll be doing a massive 60-70% water change next week (tank has fully cycled, rocks are sprouting life like crazy again). After that, I'll be ready to start stocking corals. I'm thinking about doing big quantity coral purchases in a few orders (tank will go from no corals to many corals very quickly :P). I'll be taking fish nice and slow though. Anyone want to convince me otherwise? ;)

Hehe. The huge cave is no move. Well, I do have a lot of smaller (but still big) caves. Refer to page 6 for new aquascaping :)

Ah, 'tis no more :D

Since you now have a nice trench in the middle, a clam would certainly look nice at the bottom of that.

I'd load it with corals too Len.

I am recieving an order of four corals from Atlantis Aquarium tomorrow morning. They have some good looking frags. The invoice they emailed me shows a free Red Polyp Granulosa frag :D. I'll let you know what I think of them.

I also ordered some great corals from Phishy Business. Got a real large oregon tort, a good size hoeksemai, and a small colony of A. Plana. All very nice pieces.

You should check the Reefnutz, A G Blenny at RC, and Sand Dollar at RC. All of them have some really nice limited edition corals and all do a fantastic job of packing a shipping. I'm sure there are plenty of other reefers selling frags too. Your advantage is that you live in CA where many of these reefers live.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm still freaked out at how much money this will cost me to stock.

I'm still freaked out at how much my 300G costs before I started stocking it. 8O

I've sold so much old equipment and stuff I bought for the 300 and didn't use that most of my livestock has been purchased with store credit and the money from sales that was in my paypal account.

Now I've spent all that money, so I need my corals to grow to generate so new cash for more stuff.

i would freak out before putting a bunch of corals into a new tank.

I am worried that they would not like my tank for some reason and ask why. then I will test my water and say "OH, CRAP! I got 3 dKH and 7.8 pH"

Is it ok to put alot of stuff in all at once? I will feel scared when I upgrade my tank, because I got to bust down a happy tank.

I'm thinking about an order from Atlantis too. I have a few empty spots now. That "shades of fall" acro is an interesting color, won't be available for 4 weeks though. It looks like it might have a staghorn growth pattern, which I'm trying to stay away from. Takes up too much room!

They have cespitularia too.....
