Hi all.
This is a new tank set up in a very well lit room(natural sunlight via 8'X8' window ans 6' Glass double doors witha a western exposure. Tank is an AGA 120 Drilled with a 30g DIY refugium and Berlin Skimmer. I have chosen to go with a 24" Current Outer Orbit Fixture to provide a focused spread in the center of the tank and allow the rest of the tank to be lit only by sunlight. I have attached a pic of the tank empty with only the Actinic lighting on so the light spread is more visible. The HQI covers roughly the same area. The main reef area will most likely be directly below the lights but I hope to have some less light sensitive corals out towards the sides. I have also included a pic of the refugium. (note these pics are from day one, I have since added a bunh of sea grape and codium to the refugium. I would also like to point put the the rock seen in the refugium is the result of last years hurricane season here in Sunny Florida)
Please let me know what you think....

My bad,

There is a mag12 in the fuge as the return pump. It is connected to a SCWD and then plumbed up via the columns. This causes a nice ocilating current from side to side.
