I was thinking salinity or copper myself - is this a new tank or an old one?

Here is what happened to me when I first started stocking fish. I would dump the whole bag or at least some of the lfs water into the tank when adding the fish. Nobody told me that the lfs keeps copper in the fish tanks constantly along with other stuff for the health of wild caught fish. I had inverts dying and couldn't figure it out till one day a lfs employee mentioned it in passing. Now I'm a freak about outside water getting into my tanks.

Dittos, but I'm more thinking his SG is off. Shrimp especially are sensitive to sudden SG changes, especially if it's too low IME.

I would also like to know how you are acclimating. If you are using a container other than the bag to acclimate in maybe there are some chemicals or soap present, like if you are using a bucket or tupperware. Also, if you are drip acclimating make sure the hose you are using is very clean, with no possible chemicals present there.

You never answered if you had other inverts living in the tank. Do you have trouble keeping snails alive? If it is copper, then your snails would probably be dropping dead. Maybe not as fast as the shrimp, but they wouldn't last very long.

You still have not posted so many other important parameters...

SG or salinity
temp
Alkalinity
calcium

etc....

I would also agree on testing for copper.
