Diagram question

I've seen some very cool system diagrams posted here. I was wondering what programs you guys use to make them.

I use the Autodesk Suite... AutoCad is awesome, and Inventor is pretty cool for quick easy drawings and plans.

I use the simple Paint utility that comes with windows and a lot of patience...hence the somewhat crude drawings.

Some of the best looking 3D drawings I have seen so far came from Bingo, I don't know the name of the software he is using though.

He even posted 3D movies of his setup....

I use Maya, hands down the best for visualization. It ain't easy to learn though. They make a free version but it watermarks the images. If you need precision, dimensioning, etc. then Autocad is great, but again not easy to learn from scratch. At least not for me.
