The tangs are okay so far. Lots of displaying, but no ones tried to inflict any real harm. They were introduced only a day apart. There was also an Achilles Tang, but he didn't make it. He would only eat Macro-Feast, but never put on weight

I'm sorry I never saw this post Karl. The reason I belive it wouldn't put o weight is, it was strved long enough in transit to you, from the ocean, that it's degistive tract bactarias had been basicly nuked.

NP...I had a chance to buy a healthy one at one of the LFS. Checked it out a day after it arrived, and it was eating flakes and pellets. Checked it out again 2 weeks later, and it still looked great. For some reason, I passed :? Three tangs is really pushing it.

Right now I have...

Maybe a dozen blue-green chromis
6 Lyretails Anthias
3 Orchid Dottybacks
1 Sixline Wrasse

I sold my Purple and Sohal tang to make room for the anthias. I added a small Desjardini tang later on, but someone from my current stock beat him up pretty bad. So, I've been reluctant to add another grazer.

I traded the clam in the beginning for the one I have now a little over a year ago. I learned since then, that the original clam had died

I was very hesitant to show this pic, as I didn't want to encourage putting 3 purple tangs together in a medium-sized tank. However, all 3 came in the same Red Sea shipment, and possibly may have been from the same brood. All 3 went in at the same time, and for the most part, school together.

There is the occasional displaying and nipped fin, but that's just normal pecking order behavior.
