Here is a picture of something that has started growing in my tank over the last couple of months. It grows rather slowly, has an opaque appearance and a rubbery feel to it and it peels off the rock easily. Should I dispose of it or is it benificial in any way. If it is benign I think I will get rid of it as it is not very appealing to the eye, but if it is benificial in any way, well maybe I'll think about it. Thanks.

Bad pics. If it doesn't move than it is a sponge. If they move I say flatworms.
