Green Bubble Tip Anenome

I have had a couple of bubble tip anenomes that seem to lose their green color during transport. Water params are good, strong lighting, anenome is full/sticky but just no green. As I understand it the green color does not come from zooxanthellae, but what does it come from?

look at it from the top... still not green?

About the same view, one is still green only on its very end tips.

ive seen btas change color (not dramatically though) with light and light intensity.
