CB Angel eating giant shroom... ?

My CB Angel has lately been quite fond of my 8" green shroom. I haven't caught him red handed yet, but I highly suspect he's acquiring a taste for it. I don't really care about the coral, I got it as a free frag and it's the only one I have. But what I'm worried about is A) Probably a dumb question, but is this coral safe for it to be eating and B) Will the coral stay alive as the CB nibbles it down to nothing or will it suddenly die and foul the water?

The coral is safe for the angel to be eating. It won't suddenly die, IME, but it may slowly whither away if the CB is pestering it enough that the coral won't/can't open throughout the day.

You should of cleaned the glass before you took the picture. Shame on you.
