If you're using loc-lines, how do you have it setup? And what kind of nozzles are you/have you used and which ones would you recommend?

Redoing my return in order to accomodate the higher amount of flow coming through (about 800 GPH) and I'm thinking about going with either a single or dual output for my return line using loc-lines but don't know what the best way to do it is or which nozzles work best. Not even sure if I should go with loc-lines anymore... Ideas/thoughts?

Thank you for any suggestions or advice!

I use two returns with loc lines on my 300G. Both have penductors for nozzles. Penductors increase the flow at a 3/1 - 5/1 ratio. That's alot of free flow. You need a fair amount of flow through them though.

Check out this site for more information on penductors/eductors.

I would suggest splitting up your flow into two returns either way. That way you get a lower velocity with the same amount of flow. That's usually better. You also have more flexibility with getting some flow to all parts of the tank.

So, basically they flare up instead of down? After splitting my 800GPH flow into two, and probably getting around 350GPH at each one, would it be enough to work properly with the penductors?

Marine Depot, whom I usually order anything fish-related through and who I'm also getting ready to order some stuff from, doesn't seem to carry these. Know any cheaper places that do or is that page the only ones?
