The only difference I can see in the AquaC Remora and the Urchin is the water output position, and the urchin has legs. Why can't I just add legs to my Remora, put it in my sump with a longer pump hose (like the urchin) and call it an urchin????

Here's the webpage... take a look at both of them n c what u think.

There is no reason a Remora or pro won't work sitting in a sump, I had mine running like that for a while. You just need something to make it stand up stable and maybe add a chute or something to let the water back down to the level of the rest of the water without a lot of splashing.

I'm just going to hang my Remora Pro off the back of my sump, just as I had it hanging on the back of my tank.

I figure it should work just fine.
