LIVE SAND,,,,,,,,,,which one is best?

I've noticed that there are a few different brands of Live Sand.

Is there a favorite amongst the pack?

I have to lay the substrate for a 120 gal (48" x 24") with about 140 lbs of live rock. Any suggestions?

I like natures ocean, but don't buy all live sand buy 1 bag and the rest base sand then put the base in first and the LS on top of it to seed the tank.

No not with that brand but I have also heard good things about it as well.

I've have carib sea sand in my tank right now. Very good quality and consistand grain size. I love it!

Carib Sea has a variety of grain sizes that you'll need to decipher and decide which works best for your application. I would outline what I have done, but dont' want my experience sharing to be miscontrued as selling. PM me if you're interested in what I did with my 150 display.

I also used Natures Ocean as well in my 30g when I frist started this hobby - like Chief recommended, I put one full bag of natures ocean over one full bag of Southdown (no longer available) and it worked nicely -
