I am putting together a new tank and a Imperator Angel is to be the center piece of the tank.
I have been doing alot of research on this fish and the various experiences people have had on the level of reef safeness they display. Some have had them never touch anything in their tanks including the LPS and clams that they supposed to attack regularly while others complain they eat everything in their tanks.

My thought is this: Does QTing the Angel for an extended period of 30+ days where you train it to take acceptable fare affect how likely they are to go after your corals.

I'd like to hear from others that have kept these fish, how reef safe yours was, and if your QT'ed it and for how long.

Well I dont know about training it, I definately have seen them in reef tanks, usually SPS dominated tanks though. Each will have its own attitude though don't know if you can train that out unless you feed it well enough that it doesn't think to go to corals. Also I wouldn't attempt that without a rather large tank.
