Problems with MarineDepot.com -- Anyone else ?

Hi,

Wondering if anyone has had any problems with MarineDepot.com.

I ordered a prefilter from them and need to return it. I have sent them two e-mails requesting RMA numbers and have had no response from them.

This is my first purchase with what I thought was a reputable company and may well be my last.

Purchased item : 04/28/06
Recieved item : 05/05/06
RMA request #1 : 05/08/06
RMA request #2 : 05/12/06

I don't think I'm being unreasonable asking for some kind of response, am I ?

I've bought from them several times and never had a problem. I've never tried to return anything though.

I'd pick up the phone. I'd say theres a good chance your email isn't getting through for some reason.

In my experiance www.marinedepot.com = first class act.

I agree with the previous poster .. pick up the phone and see what you can make happen.

I work in IT.. - Your email might be held up for any number of reasons.. - I'd pick up the phone.

I've had to return stuff before.. - Just as smooth as any other time.

I have always called them on the phone - their shopping software doesn't work on my browser. Phone good.

I agree with everyone. I've always had great experiences with them. Either call them or I think their website has their own forum. You could try posting there, if not reefcentral has a marine depot forum you could try.

Just wanted to give everyone an update. I have recieved a reply via e-mail with all the information I needed. The note was very nice, and at this point I would be very willing to place another order with them.
