I have a LTBA and with the hurricanes last year and the lost of some fish, i moved my maroone golds and the anemone from the 55 to the 150.
The question is why is the anemone smaller?. It went from 18" across to 8" across.
do the fish do something to the anemone to keep it from growing and then splitting?
or is it something in the water? i just did a 125 gal. water change and nothing it is still 8" across.
any advice will be useful.

I have found my anemones can vary in size depending on several factors, water flow is a biggie. Do you think it may be getting more or less flow than before?

Also, for my LTA, if I slack off on feeding it, it will not expand as much.

i have done both on feeding, slacking and often, the same result. when i put it in the tank it climed up the glass in front of the water flow into the tank, in the 55 and the 150. i thought it might be lighting so i installed 96 watt power compact over the anemone. still no results. i still cant put my finger on it
