What about galaxea? I thought they were more aggressive than the others. I have never seen my hammer have any sweepers, but my galaxea, off on its own, gets alot of them.

I only rarely spot fed my galaxea, but not when sweepers are out. If I am thinking about it while feeding my tubastrea I will just give the colony a squirt of the much mixer I feed that is homemade. Blended shrimp, scallops, crab whatever is on sale at the fish store. Then I blend it up in the food processor and freeze it in a flat bag then break up with a hammer. Thaw in water and feed. Lots of food, little money.

my frogs, torches, and hammers actually extend and wave aroundbetter if they can touch each other a little. never seen any harm come from it either... they just seem happy.

So not directly next to each other, huh?

Will the torches, hammers and frog spawn sting other corals other than these that we have been talking about?

I think they will sting most corals close to them, they are pretty stingy.

Before I moved my tank I had a predominantly frogspawn set up. I had a large pink and a large green next to each other. They grew and did fine for a while >1.5 yrs, but then one of them started stinging or somehow killing off the other one. I really had no explanation. It looked really cool for a while, but then looked like crap because there were gaps of dead/shriveled or unopened heads. By that time the corals were too large to move apart.

Now I just have them isolated with room to grow large. One day I'll figure out how to post pictures and show you guys.

So Colts on one side of the tank and the hammers, torches and frog spawn on the other?
Gorganians in the middle.
