i mixed bionic parts and two together today, yikes!

i want everyone know, dont do it! :lol: i was dumping out old bionic and poured part one into the toilet and forgot to flush before i poured part two! it foamed and mushroomed like crazy, the whole toilet was filled with this foam. it became so thick the toilet wouldnt flush, i had to get the plunger and break it apart. this is a public warning for everyone 8)

Why did you dump it out in the first place? The B-Ionic solutions are inorganic and, assuming they're stored properly, they'll last practically indefinitely.

hi gschiemer, my old bionic part 2 was precipitating when i added to the tank. it wasnt like this before. my new batch is okay. i dont know what went wrong with the old stuff.

'Bout five years ago I had a similiar experience. I was using one of ESV's bi-onic dosers (great item, just overpriced) and the reservoirs on it were nearly empty, so I went to add more to them. And realized I'd poured the second part into the reservoir that still had a bit of the first part, and vice versa.

Man, don't even ask what the clean up was like on that one.

It may have evaporated and become more concentrated, but that wouldn't make it "bad."

Also, it could be that your alk and/or calcium levels were too high when you added it.
