I have about 60 pounds of Live Rock that had real bad hair algae. I scrubbed all the rock with a toothbrush to get all the hair algae off. I then left the rock ooutside in the sun and it all bleached white.

Now my question is what do I have to do to make the rock ready for use again.

Thanks,
Shane

I would cure it a little bit before using it. Pretty much the same process as curing live rock. You just want to make sure any dead material within the rock can be broken down and some bacteria can build up. If there is anything dried onto the rock just wash it and scrub it off, then put the rock into a container with salt water, a heater, and a pump. Test the water to check for a cycle, there may be a small one or a normal one depending on how much dead stuff is in the rock. Just monitor your parameters every once in a while until everything reaches 0 and youre good to go. HTH

the rock should be okay to use since you didnt use any chemicals. wash it with good fresh or saltwater and cure it like meloco recommended, it should be good to go.
