think my clams spawned

Hi All, think my clams my have and are spawning. We saw white stuff coming out of both our clams today kind of like milk. Is this something we need to be freaked out about. The water is a little on the milkier side right now. I'm now running new carbon. And I have turned up the skimmer to almost a wet skim. Should I start making new water for a water change??? Thanks for any info. Bob

If they are spawning, it is just free food for your tank and corals. I have stomatella that spawn darn near every morning when the lights come on and that is when my corals open up the best and get some good food. Free.

I'd be making up some saltwater for a water change. Clam spawn can mess with the water quality or lack thereof.. sounds like thats just what your clams did. Did something happen in the tank to cause them to spawn, they usually don't unless stressed..
