Is there any adujstment to the time intervals as water is directed from port to port using the super squirt or OM squirt. Is anyone using the OM squirt currently? Any opinoins or advice appreciated.

Don't have one (yet) - don't have a tank big enough to really warrant one (yet) but have been looking at them for a while now.

I don't see any reason you couldn't mod it to adjust the timing down. - Provided the motor they use is ok with lower input voltages. (And it should be..)

Throw this puppy in a breakout somewhere inline with the AC feed and give it whirl..

I have one. The timing isn't adjustable. You'd have to change motors to change the timing (it would definitely void the warranty). That said, the pace of the stock unit is very nice IMO.

Does it say on the unit what motor they're using? (Not that I'm looking to DIY a knockoff, just curious if its possible to look up the specs on it to see what its tolerances are...)

I don't think it says what motor it is.

Herps, I don't know the exact interval, but my best guess is it's about 10 seconds between each full quarter rotation (time from one output to the next).

Adjustments can be done by changing the drum version below:

Version 1 - has outlets running sequentially, (ie) 1, 2, 3 , 4, repeated.

Version 2 - will give a delayed sequence (ie) 1 & 2, 2 & 3, 3 & 4, 4 & 1, repeated.

Version 3 - has them opposed (ie) 1 & 3, 4 & 2, repeated. (Our best selling version)

Version 4 - Designed for use with our Revolutions units. Water is sent to 3 outlets at the same time.

The OM Squirt can only give you Version 1. The Super Squirt can switch between Versions 1 thru 3. The 4-Way can be switched into all 4. There's also a new Super Squirt-Compact that can give you Versions 2 & 3.

Ya, you can swap out the internal assembly to change the pattern. You can't change the motor speed though AFAIK

Mine says "SYNCHRON" on the top stamped in the side " 630 110V 60HZ 4W 1RPM K12RA-6 0541"

Have at it. I doubt this is a specialized part specifically for the OM, so should be able to find one, I think they're a type of clock motor. *Shrug*

Also you could change the speed if you are handy at DIY and simply build some sort of gearing system to change the ratio, although it might be more trouble than it's worth.

EDIT: Ok a quick search on ebay found a 6RPM and 3RPM motor made by the same company, so ditch the gearing idea and buy a faster motor if you really want it :)

Oh, sorry for the delay in updating... - Manufacturers reply says the motor is synchronous and therefore it cannot have the input voltage varied and still remain functional so - no dice on using that pot. :?

Yeah, all sync motor speed is depends on the frequency of the driving AC. If you use it on 50 Hz, it will run slower. Since FM is not easy thing to do, you may want to consider getting a variable speed motor. Anyone knowledgeable about stepping motor here will be able to DIY. Or maybe something with a PWM motor?
