Is it possible to do too many complete cycles per hour using a power filter?

I'm running a 55L tank and a Hydor Crystal Duo R05 11.

It has the output of 650 L/phr meaning im doing around 11-12 cycles per hour!

Is this too much filtration or is there never enough?

The 650L/hr is probably the max output, your actual output may varies due to head pressure. I don't know the Crystal Duo to make any specific comment, sorry.

It depends on your system. Is this a FOWLR or if a reef tank what zone?
A little over 10 V/H is considered on the low side for most reef tanks and on FOWLR is you are keeping sedentary fish it may be ideal otherwise also on the low side. The current thinking (pun not intended) is upwards of 20 to 30 V/H in the States if not higher.

btw V/H is tank volume per hour
