I agree about the carbon, I dont think it is lighting problem, when i took the anemone out of the 55 and put it in my 150 i installed two power compact (96watters) on the back side of the canopy. just for the anemone. and it is in front of the water into the tank. It also doesnt move looking for better light or water.

Well i just got back from the LFS, and bought diamond carbon for the HOB. The only problem is i have to cut my canopy to get it to fit. Not a real problem. I will just run it in the front for the time being.
I also bought a grounding probe/ rod. it seems to be working for the sea anemone. already, i am really surprise to see it go from 8" to about 10" i dont know we will see.(fingers crossed).
I also bought one of my favorite dottybacks. The neon dottyback, juvenile. Havent seen one in a while, the last one i had jumped out after 3 years and fried on the glass. That i now dont have. I will have to buy egg crate for betwwen the canopy and tank.
As soon as i can get the camera i will post pics.

Dont you have a small mesh bag to put the carbon in? I only use about 2-3 heaping tablespoons of carbon for my tank...

With the groundng probe....IMPORTANT!~ You have a GFCI on the circuit, right?

I put the carbon into a stocking. I bought a small container of carbon and poured it into the stocking, then put it into the HOB. Turned it on and away it went :)

How big of a tank do you have again? For my 75G (about 90G of water total) I use about 1 cup...
