This is actually more lineage specific, and I'm hoping some of you might have experience with these particular pieces

Number one is the 20,000 Leagues Lokani. Reeffarmers has it listed in moderate to intense light, while Eric at Fragfarmer feels it should be in low light.

The other is the Eddies Purple Monster. I'm assuming that the 17" placement from a 400W Radium on Reeffarmers, is moderate lighting.

Some suggest that the A. lokani is a deepwater species, while AIMS describes its ideal environment as 'shallow reef'.

Thank you so much for your help!

The best place I've found for your corals Karl, is in my tank as you'd suspect :D

My PM is 4" from the surface, with a 150hqi 50KK about 10" above the surface of the water. I'll give you PAR readings in a month :D My old meter disappeared, so I'm awaiting a new one (improved as well) :D

I assume the A. lokani PM. One of mine is from Eddies colony, the other is a wild from SI.

Wow, you've got yours way up there.

Right now, I have my Eddies PM at about 19" from a 400W Radium. I actually felt like moving out to one of the corners, but now I'm more confused :?

Yah, but it's a 50KK bulb, so it's PAR isn't super extreme. Plus, it's 8" off center from the bulb itself.

Don't let me confuse you, listen to Eric and Steve :D They do so much better with it then I. Mine hasn't grown much at all. I fragged mine, and brought it to a friend. His 2 coralite frag is now 4x larger then my colony :(

Looks like just 150, either double ended or medium base mogul. I know a few people that use them as their actinic supplimentation, like Neil in San Mateo. IMO it's just fine on it's own, a bit pink, but a damn nice bulb.

I have the 'eddie' pm (needs a better name! :D). Its about 20 inches below the 400 watt radiums with great color and decent growth (almost fraggin' time!).

Yah Chip, come on over :D And like Righty said, bring a thumb drive. You can load it with hi-res coral shots

Rich, I should be up your way tomorrow I think. I have to do a run of labelling tomorrow and a quick bottling for a HUGE Singapore shipment of Roti-Feast and Arcti-Pods.
