We all know in the last 2-3 years we have seen the aquacultured acros take over the majority of the market. It used to be that there was only wild caught, and it seems like all of the sudden the aquacultured pieces started to flood all the online stores. We have seen quite a few different pieces ranges from the common to the less common come in as aquacultured, but I guess we can all certainly agree the variety has obviously not been as good as when the wild acros ruled.
In any case, I want to know what has been your success rate with them long and short term? Are they keeping the colors for you or are they always changing colors? Do you do anything special to them like cut off the plug they come with or something else? Have you noticed specific algae outbreaks associated with these pieces? Even worse, have you had any pests associated with these pieces like red bugs, AEFW, nudibranchs, etc?
