Is there anywhere in the Bay Area decent for live rock?

All about fish in Concord has real nice looking, shaped, coraline encrusted rock varying in price from $4.5-8.00 Lb. Fiji,Tonga branch(that actually is branching) and marshall select. Very Very few aptasia.

I miss the bay area LFS. Nothing in Seattle compares.

Amazon Aquarium in Alameda seems to have nice rock for some strange reason. Other than that, I agree with Trido about All about fish.

Closer to you would be Dolphin Pet Village, or Mermaid Aquarium.

Not my favorite places. Dolphin seems to be going out of business too. Lots of expensive dead and dying stuff.
