so i was inspecting my tank today and saw where my rics grew to another rock which is kool and normal, but it seems to have 3 bright yellow zoos growing on top of it. the zoos and the ric seem really healthy. the ric is dark and ripe looking and the zoo are open. what the hell? are my eyes decieving. i cant get a good pic without moving my kenya tree. so what do u think?> and if i move the tree will itt release chemicals? i REALLY wanna share this!

alvintheclownfish it looks like the ric is growing around the zoas, not on top of them but if you get the ric to retract (flap your hand in the water around it) you could see for sure. I'm not sure which coral will be the winner in that lil turf war.

Well, ricordea can and does move (slowly) if it doesn't like where it is. It should be fine, I would think.
