I have a 65g cube, which I really love, but the reef structure in it doesn't look quite "right". Now, understand, that part of the challenge of a cube IS making the rock structure look right haha. So, I wanna redo it. Has anyone seen any nice rock setups in a CUBE? Describe! post pics! SHOW ME SOMTHING COOOOOOOL.

I like mine, but you could even do it better in your 60 cube then I could in my 40 cube. Here's a pic...

Tall spur of rock in the rear left corner connecting diagonally with a piece of shelf rock to a smaller outcrop in the front right corner. Small outcrop of rock in the rear right corner, completely seperate from the main spur.

I think I have to get over the idea of using a LOT of rock haha. It doesn't seem like you need NEARLY as much rock in a cube as you do in typical tanks despite the water volume.

The ones that really look nice to me are fairly open with some swimming room

I think I'll try to redo it all tonight (ewww.. have to take corals out and put in bucket and all).

That's about 28 lbs of marshall island rock in a 40 gallon tank in that pic. Some of it may get pruned out later on, depending on how things get filled out.

hey chip.. that is the basic structure that I had and want to change (no offence) :)

I DID change it this evening... basically a big cave at bottom and to piles on each side.. one lower than the other.

THe cool part is that I had enough frags of a birdsnest coral that I had to frag because of disease 6months ago that I made a bridge between the two sides from the coral hehe.. looks nice

I was also able to make use of some of my "table like" corals like a pagoda and so forth to actually create some overhangs and things.

Ill try to post some pics first chance i get.
