The marcro algae in my 46gal bf is getting out of control again. My yellow tang did an incredible job keeping it in touch, UNTIL (previous post) it got sucked into a ph. Lived for a while but passed on about two months back.
What will eat this macro other than a yellow tang. For some reason they seem impossible to get now, their price has gone crazy, and I think the 46 MAY have been a little small; as well, the planned upgrage to a 72 is on indefinite hold (light fish load though, currently 1 clown and 2 damsels), about 50lbs of lr (1/2 of which is infested with this macro) and plenty of softies
This stuff is in the rocks, impossible to remove by hand anymore...I've read confllicting info about kole tangs (lfs says it will eat the macro as well as nuisance algae) - Looking for input here, QUICKLY losing the fight with this macro algae - will NEVER put a rock in again that has this stuff on it.
All advice welcome
Thanks!
