Will maroons kill a percula?

UPDATE: I caught and moved the percula. No problem now!!!!

I have a beautiful 28 gal hex tank at work with one little percula in it.

I have had that fish since 1998. I don't want anything to happen to it.

I just knocked down my reef tank, and my original plan was to move the percula to a 10 gallon temporarily, and put my pair of maroons in the 28 temporarily.

Unfortunately, I cannot catch the percula to move it.

Can I put the maroons, which are now in the 10 gallon aquarium and hating their lives, into this 28 gallon without them hurting the little guy?

I presume the answer is no, but if you have seen these two species together, please let me know.

I wouldn't do it. The little perc will prolly try and defend it's home and the Mc's are going to take over. IMO.

Are the MC's still with their anemone?

I caught the perc. It is now in my 50 gallon along with 5 chromis, a flame angel, I think one other fish, and then the two tangs I moved in. Now that tank looks like a textbook picture of how not to populate an aquarium. I hope one little perc doesn't push it over the edge. The tangs fortunately are 100% happy so far, so I am hoping to get away with this for about 2 months until they can move into their new home.

So now the 28 hex is ready for the pair of maroons. The 10 gallon seems too cruel.

If I remember to bring my camera to work.

Basically it is a 50 gal tall acrylic with some soft corals and way too much grape caulerpa that my tangs are now pigging out on.

There are too many fish in it now, but assuming I can catch the dang tangs again, this should only be for a couple of months.

The tank that used to have the percula in it is a 28 gal hex acrylic with two large mushroom leather corals and a few smaller clove polyps and xenia and a gorgonian. It should be fine for the maroon clowns.

Mine are really dark like that too.

WTF? This bothered me for about 6 years, and I changed diet and everything, and then sort of got over it.

You could try moving rock work around to destroy the territory of the one clown. That way they are all in a "new" tank.
