Does anyone have margarita snails? Mine keep getting flipped onto their backs and it seems I am always having to flip them back over? They have laid there for hours then once I flip them back to sticky side down they get moving again and are fine. I am afraid that while on their backs they will get evicted from their shells by one of my hermits.

Anyone else have this problem or solutions? Should I just leave them and let nature work?

You will want to doublecheck this, but, I thought margarita snails are one of the few that can right themselves.

How long have you had them? And how did you acclimate them, snails are very sensitive to changes in salinity. I have had the better portion of whole batches not live due to not acclimating them slow enough (hours, atleast, with a very slow drip if there is a difference in salinity).

FWIW, If I bought another batch of snails I would acclimiate them for 24, perhaps 48 hours in a separate container.

I took about 1.5 hours to acclimate 2 weeks ago. Salinity has been 1.023 - 1.024 for the past 4 weeks. What I am not sure of is if it is the same snail I have to keep turning over or multiple different ones. I was just watching the tank this evening after getting home and one of the snail that was on the glass just let loose and fell to the bottom. I watched as it tried to right itself for about 2 -3 minutes and finally gave in and helped it out.

I got some nerite snails from a guy on ebay. They can right themselves and are exposed to freswater sometimes in the wild so no problems with salinity.
