I currently have a 70 gallon tank with about a 30 gallon sump refuge system. I'm tired of constantly adding CA and ALk and frankly getting tired of it. I'm thinking about adding a Koralin 1502 system. Can you guys and gals tell me if it's worth it? Pro's and Con's etc. Looks like MD has a setup for about $530 less tank.

Thanks in advance,
Phillip

I say it is completely worth it. I have a 46 BF and 10 gallon sump and I love it. I got a great deal on a used knop c for 150 including a 100lb tank. I don't think I will ever have to refill the tank lol. It was a pain to get dialed in, but now that it is, my CA is at 410 and my dKH is 9.9-10. I only run it during the light on cycle so it is running about 6 hours a day. My corals have really exploded since the addition of the CA reactor and halides. I would definitely go for it, but I would seek out a used rather than drop 500 on a new one. I just lurked in the for sale section of a few reef sites until someone put one up for sale and I jumped on it. Good luck.
