Poll: Should I stick with a Reef or try a FW Planted tank?

Seems like you've got things figured out, but my opinion is that FW planted tanks can look amazing but will be a whole lot of work. But to me, in the end, a nice reef will still be more interesting! And since I started SW I can't stop finding the little amazing things and the abundance of surprises incredibly interesting.... You don't get much of that in FW.
