Are urchins asexual? I've found what looks to be a very young urchin.
I've had the adult for pushing three years, If it is in fact the offspring, should I isolate it from the tank? I've got some pretty bold emerald crabs that will devour anything in it's path.
It's green and the spines are moving. About the size of a marble. Its wedged itself between a couple of rocks trying dodge the sweepers off a nearby leather.Awesome!! TinMan

it is hard to tell in the pictures, the second one does look like a baby urchin. they dont reproduce asexually. i think it is a hitchhiker on a coral or rock.

I got a green hitchiker urchin in my 125. I first saw it on the glass and I need a magnifing glass to figure what it was. Last time I saw it, it was a bit over a centimeter and having lots of fun boring into the rock. Probably one of the best hichikers I ever have gotten.
