I've been looking for more fish for my 100g Reef tank and I think I made a bonehead move.... I bought a fish that I realise is a bad idea for two reasons. I got my notes screwed up and now he's in the tank.

The fish is a red-coris wrasse... he's a juvenile. I see he really gets too big for a 100g and I don't really think he'll be reef safe.

Anyone have one out there and how long before he starts picking on the hermits? Also, will it worry Corals (fairly mixed reef).

Thanks

-Adrian

I have several coris wrasse in my 150 with corals.
check out this, My 150 gal. tank in the photo corner and see what I have in the tank and judge for yourself.
IMO you didnt do anything wrong depending on what you want to do with the tank. The red coris I have, I have had for three years. So you have time

Thanks for the reply... I'll take a look at your tank pics...

I've read... NOT REEF SAFE and Reef Safe: Monitor on various sites now so I'll go with "monitor"

Sure is a fun fish although my it's not just my 2 yr old that insists it's Nemo; my Skunk clowns seem to think he is too as they show a little aggression if he swims near them... thankfully there is tons of tank for him to avoid them.
