Hi all, I just thought I'd share my new fish with you. His name is Zip and he is a Pseudochromis fridmani x Pseudochromis sankeyi hybrid from ORA. It is the best fish I have ever had. It is not as shy as the fridmani but just as beautiful. He never causes any problems though and gets along with everyone wonderfully.

While I'm at it I might as well show you some of my tank. I recently moved up to Aloha Oregon (that's next to Portland). I just reset up my 65.

That little Zoa in the middle of that rock is the sole servivor of a group I purchased. It had bleached and I thought it was done for but it hung in there and regained its algae. It looks like the yellow rimmed zoas in the pics I'm going to post but has a neon green rim. I'm very happy it made it.

I know, "where's the background in the tank?" I kinda like it that way as strange as it sounds. I can see what's going on behind the tank and at night it's really cool looking. The light from the refugium below bounces of the wall and illuminates the tank from behind. So, all of the things in the tank have this amazing silhouette. Couple that with the moon lights and it is great looking :D

Very nice tank. I just left oregon on leave. Miss it already lol. If you ever get the opportunity or are in the tualitin area, south of portland, swing into Upsale fish and reptile. Amazing setup. They have 2 show tanks that are just stunning to say the least.

Hey, great tank and lovely zoa setup! Zip looks really good too. How much did you pay for him?

I paid $50. He was one of the first batches to come out, so I'm assuming the price will drop if the demand is good.

I LOVE Oregon. I was a hard core Cali girl (three generations strong) and thought I would live there till the day I died. I moved because of soaring house prices and lack of job opportunities. I guess Californians can get big heads about the state. Everything up here is so relaxed, beautiful, cheap, and efficient. I'm NEVER moving back.

Yeah that fish store is one on my list. I already hit up three others. I was fairly impressed with one of them (aqua cultured SPS comming out the ying-yang).

Thanks for the compliment man. Safe travels to ya:D

You have a very nice, clean looking tank. Blue is my favorite color so i am quite fond of ZIP. I am guessing he is a fast fish, hence the name?

Doni.
