F Fulinn Active Reefer Rating - 0% 0 0 0 Aug 27, 2006 #4 I have 200 pounds or so of KolorScape play sand in my 75 gallon tank. I am VERY happy with it. Be sure to rinse it very throughly before you place it in your tank. I used white ( although it comes in different colors ), it is not stark white, but kinda dull white, looks great. My light penetrates about 1" down and seems to have plenty of bactria growing in it, and a few worms even ! I personally see NO drawbacks to using this sand at all. I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have. Bonnie

F Fulinn Active Reefer Rating - 0% 0 0 0 Aug 27, 2006 #6 I have had no problems with the sand being "swirled" around by way of the water current. The sand is NOT oo fine, it is what I consider to be a medium sized to small sized grain. I've had no problems with debrie in the sand, my clean up crew seems to be taking care of any leftovers.
