How many of you own GEO's I just purchased one and am hoping to install next weekend as soon as my regulator gets here. Here are some of my questions I am hoping you all can help with.
1. The GEO I have came with a bubble counter, so this means when I ordered my milwaukee regulator I did not need the one with a bubble counter, correct?? And since I already orderd the regulator with the bubble counter which one should I utilize the GEO or the Milwaukee?
2. I did order the model with an electric solenoid I felt this was important for power outages. Is this a necassary item? Also got the needle valve.
3. How tough is it going to be to dial in? Any tips from those that have gone before me are appreciated.
4. Geo recommends using large Schuran type media to keep from clogging the reactor. Is this true and if so where do I find the Schuran type media.
5. What do I need to keep moisture from backing into the Co2 regulator? Is there a check valve or something I need to eliminate this from happening?
Sorry for all the questions. I am a noobie at calc reactors. I am however making sure that all my parameters are in place before attempting to dial in my GEO. Calcium is at 420 and holding, and alk is at 9.0 DKh
Thanks in advance for any input.
