scratches on acrylic fix??

How do you acrylic tank keepers deal with the inevitable micro scratches in your veiwing panes?

Thing I cannot figure is I have been very careful making sure panes are clean before using my Mag Float and I have all kinds on small scratches everywhere.

Is there a safe effective way to deal with this?

Try the local hardware store for a special buffing cream.

Micromesh, and other acrylic scratch remover (sand paper) that works under water.

I usually only do it when the tank is drained, however.
