I am setting up a tank(330L), have been looking today at new lighting. I am going to get four T5 fluoresent lights for the tank. I am just wondering if i can keep any other corals than mushroom corals? I want the corals to become established in the tank and not just survive. Thanks for any advice.

Hi. I'm going to move this to the General Reefkeeping discussion where it is more pertinent (and will get more discussion as well :P)

HO T5's are pretty good lighting. You can keep many corals under them with good results.

What length or wattage bulbs are they?

The tank is a corner tank, two of he bulbs will be 38inch and the other two will be 20inch. I have seen different ones with different wattage, i was going to get the highest watt i could find. Is there a difference in the single thin bulbs, and the double bulbs that are joined together? is that the later are just more compact?
