VHO Retrofit with URLs

Do u guys think this would help color up my tank in addition to my 400w HQI?

See If I've included everything that I would need to make this work. I know there are no reflectors.. thus the URI bulbs.

the link does not work. but if you are thinking about actinics then i say yes! i love my tank with actinics and mh, even high k mh bulbs.

Im considering the PFO retrofit kit. it would give me 150w of pure actinic in addition to my 14k MH.

WIth the 400 w mh on do you think i could still tell the actinics were working or would it was them out?>

If you have room you may want to consider getting the VHOs in the name of saving electricity and life span of your MH bulb. You can cut your MH back to 6 or 8 hours a day and still get 12 of veiwing with the actinic. Another added bonus is the ability to get full actinic veiwing which is cool in its own right.

I have 500w of 14k phoenix and 330w of URI VHO actinic. When the MH are on and I turn off the VHOs I can barely tell the difference at first glance.
IMO your 400 would probably completely wash out any VHOs you put over the tank.
