UPGRADING SKIMMER

so i need to upgrade skimmers. Im running my remora on my 75g tank, and its pushing it's limits I feel.

I have limited sump room, because my stand is holding up a CUBE , but what is a good for the price skimmer that will do me right?

well all that depends.

ive never had an INSUMP skimmerbefore, so i need a question answered. I have a Mag9.5 return down there right now. Will THAT pump hook into my skimmer and goto the return or will I need to subtract the room that the Mag9 takes up ???? If so I assume I'll have to have another pump.

BTW.. thats a HUGE skimmer! I wish I had one!

I would not use the mag9 to run the skimemr and the return pump.

I had the Euroreef ES5-2 on my 60 cube. It worked well and did not take up much room. I thing they call it the RS-80 now.

I think the Coral Life Super Skimmers are the best for their price range. I run a 65 on my 45 oceanic in sump and like it alot.

I have an ASM G2 and it works like a dream. Very user friendly. I think I paid 235.00 with shipping. It's "similar" to a Euroreef but not as expensive.

dont buy the octo spray injection or brecket skimmer its horrible, no comment on their needle wheel though

Have you considered Deltec? Their hang-on model is pretty much the king of HOT skimmers, and they also offer a very compact in-sump version of that design (the MC500, http://www.deltecusa.us/proteinskimmers/mc500.php )
