Hope what I described makes sense
Makes perfect sence to me.

I would recommend that when you build the actual cabinet you use a different grain pattern on every door. JK. My cabinet program does the same thing. It should look real nice when its finished.

Tank-build re-engaged:
http://www.reefs.org/forums/topic91376.html#p1582710

Before I buy things like a return pump, I need to decide on a method of filtration.

Wet/dry? Refugium? Other?

Can you recommend what type of filtration system you would use for this setup?
2 built-in overflows in a 336 gallon display tank going down to the floor below (17' from top of aquarium on floor #2 to the floor of floor #1).

Considerations:
- The "processing area" will have lots of space for hardware
- I MAY (big maybe) in the future add a display tank on floor #1 behind this processing area, and share the same water supply as the aquarium on floor #2.

Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom you can provide given this scenario. :D

What are your plans for biological filtration in the tank? DSB, BB, SSB? I would do a chaeto algae filter refugium w/o sand and a good properly rated skimmer, nothing more (other than a Ca Reactor if you're thinking stony corals later on).
