best way to transfer polyps? help

i recently purchased 2 decent sized rocks with mushroom polyps and button polyps and i was looking for advice on the best way to transfer them from their existing rock to the live rock in my tank, still new to this and could use any opinions out there

are you going to pull them off the rock and put them on the rock in your tank?

i would like to, i just dont want to damage them my button polyps are in a rather large full cluster

dont pull em off just place the rock the colony is on in a place where the 2 rocks are touching on most sides then leave it there till some grow over to the old rock will take some time but batter for the coral

Yes, it'd be difficult to transfer individual polyps. You could try scraping/cutting the rock from underneath them, and then reattaching it.

Be careful, though. Some polyps are poisonous, especially if you cut them open.
