I have always stayed away from angels due to reports that they are clam nippers and sps nippers. I really like them though! Whats your take on 'em?

Hehe. I've had more then a dozen Centropyges. Only one (the current one) has not done some major nipping. It does bother my Montiporas a bit, but they're still growing (less PE now though).

Arg! I need a intent checker for my brain!

I would have room for one Genicanthus, but I don't think I love them all that much. :D

I have had one for over a year and have had no issues. I have never seen it so much as look at a coral.

I had a blueface that didn't bother corals for the 6 months I had it. Then it died all of sudden without any visible symptoms.

Rich,
P. imperator, and P. navarchus are two good bets.
C. argi and C. acanthops are almost always good residents.

Interesting. I had the ame experience with a blue face. Had it for almost two years. Found it dead on the sand one morning. Never any symptoms, ate well, active, good water..

What about the joculator that suddenly developed a taste for LPS and then woke up dead?

My Emperor at work loves zoos, and GSP.

Just watching him chow down all these more easier corals is all the reason why I don't put one into my tank at home.

It's not 100%, and you have to get them young. Get a little one, get it eating prepared foods, and you have better than even chances of having a well behaved reef resident.
