Too Much Flow ??

I don't know if that is possible but thought I would ask

I have a 30 gal with the following:

2 * MJ1200 * 295 gph = 590
1 * MJ600 * 160 gph = 160
1 * Seio 620 * 620 gph = 620

Total = 1370 gph.

1370 / ~27 gal of water = 50X turnover.

I have it setup as follows.

1 MJ1200 back left corner pointing down across the back.
1 MJ600 beside the MJ1200 in back left pointing to the front glass 3 inch below surface.
1 MJ1200 back right corner pointing up for surface agitation towards glass at the centre of the tank.
1 Seio 620 centered on the right glass facing across the centre of the tank.

It is mainly an SPS tank.

Sound perfect for SPS. I have about that much in my 30L softy tank.

That does look like an aweful lot of flow But if your corals aren't being directly blasted and your fish (if any) aren't being knocked around by the flow, it sounds great to me!

It's not that much as long as it is not directly pointing towards any corals.
