favorite fish store

while on vacation i was in a shop in los angles called aquatic fanticies in long beach and wish i lived a lot closer. there tanks looked very nice and the specimins looked much healthyer that those in other shops i visited in the area. i now live in gorgia and have yet to find a good shop in the area to go to. the local petco is horrable and i will not go back, and petsmart is not any better. any sugestions. feel free to post your favorite aquarium store because i travel a lot and might be in the area.

lol, petsmart? petco? are they fish stores? I have a favorite but i know any lfs is jacking up the prices more than you can imagine so unless your educated and know the in's and out's you won't know a deal. online seems to be a good deal if you have the time to accept a shipment

the petsmart and petco are only good for supplies if they are even good for that.

umm...i like "that fish place" in lancaster, pa. for mechanicals(filtration, supplies, skimmers, reactors, lighting, and SOME livestock) and i like pets plus for livestock. (business route 1 in oxford valley) pets plus keeps their salinity very low due to the fact that they don't want a massive ich outbreak, which is rather annoying, but if you have a hospital tank, their prices are usually good. :?

Hey Mr. X nice to see a PA reefer. You should check out something fishy toofishy.com.

The new Hidden reef should be excellent as well. I like Frazer Zoo though b/c he carries a nice selection of Aquacultured SPS and ORA frags. Mike will also take in frags for store credit.

i hear hidden reef is having some zoning problems. i drive by there every so often and don't see much progress lately.
