Saw one of these last night in my sump...tried to take pictures, but it was just too small. However, this one was on the front glass of my tank moving fast. Long antennae. When I tried to grab it the whole rear end of it came off and started wiggling around. It has a shell. the second is a snail, I just want to make sure its coral friendly.

It's funny how after a few months things start to come out of the woodwork that you definitely had not seen before or when you originally bought the live rock.

Thanks for your help.

It does seem to have a bit more spiral to the shell than normal.

It's a stometella minus the tail guys. They do have a "turbin" in their shell as seen in the posters pic.

The other is another type of harmless herbivore as well. Neither are anything to worry about, except the non stomatella does breed rapidly has loves to clog screens quite quickly, especailly on pump intakes :D
