Hi, I noticed this last night and I was wondering if anyone could provide a diagnosis as to what going on with this digi of mine. I've had it for about 3 months. Could not being exposed to direct light be doing this? or is there a parasite? All water levels are fine and other SPS and softies are fine. Sorry for the blurred pic.

I've enhanced the photo a bit for you. It looks like the polyps in that section are retracted. Something may be nipping or biting it. If you don't see anything during the day that is pestering it, I'd take a red flashlight (red LED is nice) and look after dark to see if anything is predating it. If you can remove it and give it a lugol's dip, that may help too.

It would only help if that area is right up against something that is eating/picking it or possibly toxic to it. If you can reposition it, give it a try. I would do a dip first while you're at it.
