I've most of the threads about this, but I'm running into a weird problem.

Did anyone have micro holes in BOTH of their 1" rubber tubing that connect the ehiem pump to the inlet and outlet pipes on the top of the reactor? After about 30 seconds of running only the ehiem circ pump these things start dripping. Drips are NOT coming from either connection (which have zip ties on each end), but from the middle of the tubing.

I guess I'll look for some replacement tubing tomorrow, or is this a specialty part that I need to order? Or should I call up Marine depot where I ordered the kit?

my korallin does not leak there. it is regular tubing but i dont think it is 1 inch but some metric size. it is odd you have holes in both locations. maybe someone sabatoged yours  sorry, i had to do it ;)

i would call marine depot. they might send you a new top part if you send yours back or at least they should be able to get the tubing size you need

fungia- Tubing is not 1" diameter, but I meant ~1inch in length. Sometimes it sure seems like the fish tank gods are against you :D !! I think I'll give marine depot a call. They're usually pretty good about this kind of thing. If not, I'm sure I'll find tubing elsewhere that will work just as well.
